The discussions in the present article deals with the self-learning materials (SLMs) along with the innovative and other child centered self-learning materials like; self-learning module in mathematics, worksheets based on mathematics, open source software’s for mathematics learning, instructional program designed for self-learning in mathematics, along with various initiatives for better self- learning. The discussion of the present article will be fruitful to stakeholders, school teachers for enhancing the quality of teaching learning of mathematics across the globe.
