ABSTRACT
Every academician wants the students to learn and retain the material they cover and at the same time enjoy learning2. Examination is the method to access student knowledge and the Closed-book exam is the most common type of exam conducted to know how well students have learned2. Students prefer alternative forms of testing; using crib notes where the students can prepare notes to use on the exam, oral examinations, credit assignments and open-book exams (OBE) etc. are alternative methods2, 3. The aim of this study is to evaluate what short of assessment students prefer and what short of assessment teacher prefer? Why they prefer these? And also, to know their merits and demerits.
