ABSTRACT
The aim of the present study was to examine social network use and eating attitudes among college students. In this research, a total of 100 youth from various areas of Sangli City were selected by purposive sampling. The ratio of boys to girls was 1:1. The Social Network Use Questionnaire by Savita Gupta and Liaqat Bashir’s and David Garner’s Eating Attitude Test tools used. Mean, standard deviation, t test and Pearson Product Moment correlation method were used to statistically analyze the data. The present research revealed gender differential effects on the factors social network use and attitudes towards eating. Also, a negative correlation was observed between social network usage and attitude towards eating.
