The data were gathered using Academic Procrastination Scale (Jan, Mattoo, & Amin, 2022), academic achievement was quantified with the help of students’ semester GPA.  One-way Analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA) was employed to test the data. The results indicated that parental educational qualification significantly influenced students’ academic achievement after accounting for academic procrastination, whereas gender, locale, and family type did not exhibit significant effects. These findings highlight the role of parental education in academic success and suggest the need for interventions targeting academic procrastination to enhance student performance.
