By aligning its objectives with global educational goals such as equity, diversity, and lifelong learning, NEP 2020 seeks to address long-standing challenges of educational access, quality, and relevance. In this paper researcher tries to provide an understanding about the provisions and prospective effect of the NEP 2020 on marginalized students in the realm of higher education. The paper concludes by emphasizing the need for sustained efforts, policy coherence, and community involvement in realizing NEP 2020’s promise of accessible and inclusive education for all.
