Assessment of Personality Traits among School and Madarsa Teachers

ABSTRACT
The aim of this study was to found out the differences on the personality traits among school teachers of Aligarh Muslim University Schools and Madarsa School teachers who joined training programme at the Department of Education, Aligarh Muslim University under Pandit Madan Mohan Malaviya National Mission on Teachers and Teaching. The sample of this study consisted of 400 teachers and HEXACO-60 (Ashton & Lee, 2009) was administered to them. t-test was used to compare the sample sub-groups. Results revealed that significant differences were not found between the mean scores of School Teachers and Madarsa Teachers on the six personality traits of HEXACO-60.
