ABSTRACT
Technology has revolutionized the entire world, with increasing number of dependency on various digital platforms in the modern life especially among young adults The use of digital technology is a general term that covers various devices, services and types of use. In recent years, digital transformation has enhanced productivity, speeds up the business and enhanced effective communication. However, one of the pressing concerns is digital burnout- a type of technology-related exhaustion that emerges when individuals are overwhelmed by constant connectivity and the demands of digital communication. Studies have been conducted studying the relationship between digital burnout and self-efficacy in young adults. This review paper covers some of those studies and aid in designing interventions to enhance digital well-being, foster resilience, and promote adaptive digital engagement.
