The psychological features, phonotypical qualities, criminal behaviour, aggressiveness pattern, mental disorders, historical background, and other factors are all investigated in the cases and data of these female serial murderers. Researchers have already utilised many approaches of determination of serial killers such manner of murdering, mental illness, marital status of offender, and kind of victim, educational and economic background of offender. This literature review’s major contribution is a comparison of different aims and approaches used by researchers to determine the features of female serial killers. This research will aid in the evaluation of approaches, the identification of research gaps that have previously been identified, and the identification of future issues when dealing with such instances.
