ABSTRACT
Effective adjustment in various areas of life is difficult to attain, especially when without any resources, healthy adjustment in different areas of life makes a person feel secure and positive about themselves and are ready to face situations of daily life, an unhealthy adjustment creates higher levels of dissatisfaction and distrust on others. The present study is exploratory in nature as it seeks to assess the level of adjustment of the adolescents on various domains, identify areas of conflict on these domains A sample of 100 students (14-18 years) were collected through Adjustment Inventory for School Students (AISS) scale A.K.P. Sinha & R.P. Singh. Mixed method was employed for the analysis. Quantitative findings indicated an average adjustment level when compared between schools and across genders. The study suggested the need for training students on various life skills in order for them to have a healthier adjustment and a positive outlook in life.
