ABSTRACT
Mental health is a sector which has seen great evolution recently, with more awareness and acceptance for this area of work. With life becoming busier and technology progresses by leaps and bounds, a growing number of people are prepared to go online for professional assistance and integrate healthy routines. These evolved and developing transitions have motivated mental health practitioners to refine their technological and psychotherapeutic expertise while effectively reaching the masses. The aim of this paper is to explore the trends in psychotherapy area with respect to therapeutic methods and advancements in the surrounding field. This helps you to know what the current scenario is and plan how better to grow further. To this aim, 1054 papers on the subject of online psychological counselling were investigated from the Scopus database. We contextualized the results in terms of country wise progress, keywords of interest and contemporary research publication trends, keywords network analysis and psychotherapeutic trends.
