ABSTRACT
The current study tries to explore and identify the aggressive behavior pattern present in delinquent adolescents. A purposive sample of 34 juvenile delinquents, aged between 15-18 years who were selected from Bangalore Observation Homes. Proactive/Reactive Aggression scale developed by Raine et al. (2006) was used to collect information regarding the subject’s patterns of aggressive behavior. The scale was administered in small groups and responses were collected by the researcher. The results indicate higher levels of reactive aggression in comparison with proactive aggression among adolescents in conflict with the law. Descriptive data of the profile of aggression in juvenile delinquents and its implications will be discussed.
