ABSTRACT
This study aims to investigate Emotional Intelligence and Altruism on Life Satisfaction among siddha doctors. This study was conducted on 187 participants and administered by psychological measures like Emotional Intelligence scale (EIS), Adapted Self Report Altruism Scale (SRAS) and Riverside Life Satisfaction Scale (RLSS). Statistical tools like Correlation and ANOVA were used. The result showed that emotional intelligence has significant positive correlation with altruism and life satisfaction, whereas there is no significant correlation between altruism and life satisfaction. The result also showed a significant difference in emotional intelligence on life satisfaction. There is no significant difference in socio demographic variables on life satisfaction.
