ABSTRACT
Body Image Perception plays a significant role in shaping an individuals psychological well-being particularly during young adulthood- a developmental stage marked by heightened self- awareness and social comparison. The present study aims to examine the relationship between body image perception and social physique anxiety. Body image perception refers to an individuals thoughts, feelings, and attitudes toward their physical appearance, while social physique anxiety involves the anxiety experienced when one believes their body is being evaluated by others.
