ABSTRACT
Happiness is an important issue in people’s life and Socio-economic status (SES) has crucial role to play in it. This study aimed to investigate the influence of the SES on Happiness on women. Adopting a cross-sectional research design, data were collected from 200 women in Bihar state. Correlation analysis revealed that there is relationship between SES and happiness. Regression analysis exhibited that the SES explained significant variance on happiness. It is found that people who belong to lower education and income have significantly negative influence on the level of happiness.
