ABSTRACT
The contemporary investigation was designed to discovery the relationship between stress management strategies and life satisfaction. For this purpose, the data was collected from research scholars, faculty of social sciences and the size of the data was N= 100. For this purpose, ten behavioural strategies have been framed that were usually adopted by participants to get free from their stress and a scale of ‘satisfaction with life’ developed by Deiner et al., (1985) was used to measure the levels of life satisfaction. Correlational statistics were used and the findings exposed that out of ten strategies four strategies i.e., ‘Try to understand one’s own problem and then making successful effort to manage stress’, ‘Manage stress by sharing problems with others’, ‘When stressful, I think that it is the will of God and such realization relieves my stress’, and ‘Try to rationalize stressful situation positively’ were found to be positively related with life satisfaction in case of female research scholar, while in male only three strategies were found positively significant i.e., ‘When stressful, I think that it is the will of God and such realization relieves my stress’, ‘Try to rationalized stressful situation positively’ and ‘Accept the stressful situation as un-avoidable and feel relaxed’ with life satisfaction.
