ABSTRACT
This current study aims to understand the relationship and impact of perceived stress and self-diagnosis, particularly among psychology students. The study utilized a quantitative approach with a correlational research design. Data was collected using a non-stratified purposive sampling technique via Google Forms. The research employed various tools to analyse the collected data, which includes Perceived Stress Questionnaire and Self-identification of mental illness Scale (SELFI). The participants comprise of 80 students, studying Psychology Bachelors in Kristu Jayanti College Autonomous, Kothanur, Bangalore District. According to the findings, there is a significant positive correlation between self-diagnosis and perceived stress. The study also employed linear regression analysis to determine that perceived stress was a significant predictor of self-diagnosis.
