ABSTRACT
The study aims to compare the prevalence of stress and suicidal ideation between two countries. And also finding out the relationship between stress and suicidal ideation. It also helps us identify coping strategies alongside making better policies and treatment efforts to prevent suicide. Stress and suicidal ideation among Indian students in UAE and India are objectively measured using depression, anxiety and stress scale (DASS) and suicidal ideation scale with an estimated sample size of 150 participants. Statistical tools such as correlation, regression and independent t-test are used to analyse the data. The study is conducted amongst students falling under the age 15-22. Descriptive statistical analysis is used to summarise the findings.
