A Study of general well-being in working and non-working women

ABSTRACT
The present investigation has been designed to study the impact of working status and age on general well-being in women of Ranchi town. For this purpose 100 women were selected through stratified random sampling. The stratification was based on working status (working/non-working), age-I (20-30) and age-II (40-50). General well-being inventory was administered. The result showed that working women have better general well-being than non-working women and significant differences was found between ages I and age II among women.
