To Study the Impact of COVID-19 on People above 60 Years of Age

ABSTRACT
Everyone experienced unusual situations during this Pandemic. WHO published special advisory for the people above 60 years, on 3rd of April 2020. They shared that this age group is at higher risk of getting infected with virus because of physiological changes and decreased immunity that takes place during this age. In our country (India) also NCDC (National Centre for Disease Control) published special guidelines especially for the people above 60 years of age mentioning that this age group is at high risk. Guiding them to take precautions and along with it eat correct food, keep hydrated and regularly exercise. This study is conducted to understand the impact of COVID-19, on people above 60 years of age. With the help of Survey method, the data is collected. The sample consists of 75 male and females above 60 years of age. This survey was conducted in month of November/ December 2020. The results obtained show that COVID-19 impacted their physical health, mental health, emotional health and spiritual health.
